you have quite a beautiful aesthetic form to your scoop, consider making the handle bigger for a more comfortable grip!
ReplyDeleteI think your product turned out beautifully and the curvature of the spoon was executed well. Still, improvements could be made with the handle of the spoon, it seems a little small, it could be made wider so as to account for different hand sizes. It may be uncomfortable since it is such a small width.
ReplyDeleteI love the curve of the handle and i think the overall look of the spoon is beautiful! However i do think that the head of the spoon could be changed to a less traditional shape? I do see how that could be hard as it is used for both eating and scooping ice-cream, but i thought it was worth a mention! Also as mentioned above, the handle looks quite thin and square, maybe you could have introduced a little more curve so it is more comfortable to hold.

ReplyDeleteI have to agree, the handle of the ice cream scoon can be improved a bit more, the beautiful curved line that shapes the handle is there if it is viewed from the side, but the handle is a bit thin and not wide enough. I also thought that the structure of the spoon is important, for example, some users like to lick the spoon at the end after a bite of the ice cream.
I like how you came up with the concept. The organic design makes the product eye pleasing. However, I agree with the others that the handle can be improved. I think the handle is too thin and long. If it is too thin, I think users will not be able to put much force into the scooper well when they scoop hard ice-cold ice cream. So, I think the handle doesn't have to be long but should be thicker and rounded for efficiency and comfort.Also, the scoop part can be a little wider and bigger so that users can scoop more even though the product is for scooping and eating as well. I think the scoop part has to be bigger than a normal spoon.
